Ah, Monday, Sweet Monday

We booked our wedding package at the Eureka Springs Treehouses. I am tres excited. Our package includes:

2 nights stay in a treehouse
Ceremony
Carriage ride (complete with champagne and goodies)
romantic candelight picnic dinner
Romance package- roses, candles, and more champagne
photographer to take 20-25 pictures

And its only $599. Our venue alone was going to cost $950. Huge difference. Maybe I should change my blog title to The Tree House Bride...

Newsies

BIG NEWS!

After having a discussion this week about our impending Spring Break trip to Eureka Springs (wedding capital of the south), we have decided that we are forgoing a big wedding at the Olivia and are in fact getting married this summer (June 26) at the Eureka Springs Tree Houses. We have found a wedding package for WAY less than we were originally going to spend on the big wedding. We will more than likely have some sort of reception/cook out the weekend after (or maybe the weekend before) the wedding.

In light of our new plans (GAH! WE ARE GOING TO SAVE SO MUCH MONEY!!), I have three new inspirations:

I recently acquired this white sun dress, on sale at Shabby Apple for $66 (plus my five dollar donation to a women's charity):

I am really looking forward to our small, just the two of us ceremony. How many people can say they have been married in a treehouse?!?! Not very many!!

I am also selling my wedding dress. If you are interested, please shoot me an email at jennmichel@yahoo.com

Happy Sunday!
